Is there a python client for Windows?

  2. Ultimately there will be. The existing codebase should run on Windows fine (with one tiny exception that I know about) but I haven’t looked at the libavg + browsernode dependencies to make that happen yet.

As Windows already has a working client it’s getting second priority for now.

I’m unable to register in the forums. I have registered and receive an error that the server can’t send out a confirmation email.

I receive the following error when trying to recover my password for the forum…

“The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…”

    Please advise..

I’m glad to see that new features are in heavy development. I’m particularly interested by the python client. I also try to find the time to take a look into the French translation.

  5. Hi MrMookie

We don’t allow logins via the WordPress Database – only via OpenID. Unfortunately WordPress doesn’t offer a way to disable their login form and user signup, but still allow us to let people log in with OpenID short of editing the code manually (which then causes problems at upgrade times).

Your best option is to log in with OpenID – either using Launchpad or many of the other OpenID providers (Yahoo, Google etc). There’s a sticky topic in the forums with more information.

    Alex
