I'm eagerly awaiting the 1.4.0 release - we built a floor-stand display running Xibo for Ba-con last year, displaying event schedule data, sponsor logos, and live event tweets, but we did have some stability issues with last year's code. We had to restart things several times a day throughout the event. We also tried to use the display for another event last year but had so many problems that we switched it to a JPG slideshow app just to get through the day.

The next Ba-con is coming up at the end of June. It would be really nice to have some newer code in the next few weeks to roll that out rather than continue to fight with year-old bugs.

Thanks!

1.3.2 should be stable enough for a small production deployment, using the windows client. Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment!

Xibo is GREAT! Looking forward for next stable version. I also want to suggest another COOL feature, which shouldn't be too hard to implement: embedding Google Documents (spreadsheets, text, presentations).

God bless,
Ghita
