Xibo has grown enormously over the last 3 years and the project now enjoys more community involvement and more installations than ever before.
We want to build on these achievements and convince even more people to adopt the “Signage for Everyone” software solution that is Xibo. We feel that to do this we need to make Xibo more marketable and easier to “access”.
The first part of this work is now live, and you are reading it! The website has been redesigned from the ground up to provide Xibo information in an easy to use understandable way.
The second part is something we need help with – showcasing individuals, organisations and companies that use Xibo. We would like to run a scrolling ticker of company logos on the front page under a “trusted by…” heading.
We’d love to hear from anyone that would be willing to have their name put to Xibo – just email a 200x200px PNG logo to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of our request for some help with the Xibo site design! A big thank you to all those that helped over the last 12 months, we appreciate every effort made.. even if we didn’t quite get there.
Given that a year has past, we thought it was appropriate to being asking again…
The Xibo site was put together as a temporary measure over 3 years ago and was always designed to be a functional home until Xibo gained a reputation and warrented a better site. We thought that time had come a year ago and we definitely do now… to cut a long story short – the current site does not showcase Xibo well at all!
What we are looking for is:
– A word press theme for the xibo.org.uk site
– A theme to match for the Xibo Wiki
– A theme for our Xibo directory or preferably a word press plug in that will do the job
We are open to any ideas, although there is one point we are very keen on… the Xibo logo should remain the same. We feel that the logo has achieved a certain amount of brand identity, and therefore don’t want to lose it.
